    If you started exercising only a few days ago...then give it some time. Don't mess with your calorie level just yet. See how the exercising goes over the next few weeks, and then if you don't see any loss, we can start tweaking with WHAT you are eating, rather than the calorie level.

    I did 35 minutes of strength training today-focusing on abs/back...and I a teaching dance class tonight. So, I will end up with about 1 1/2 hours of exercise. Food so far:

    B-protein shake
    S-yogurt
    L-lean pork and vegetables
    S-baby carrots (eating them currently as I type)

    Dinner will have to be something quick before class...and I'll have a snack when I get back.
  • thanks aphil, I just needed to hear it LOL. I think the important thing is I feel SO MUCH better! I am not getting off my butt still LOL to do things like scrub the toilet (I don't think its because of energy now, its more of an aversion to cleaning LOL), but I really feel the iron working, something I thought would never happen! i am actually a little freaked out by my PINK skin, I have never been pink! I have always been a pale gray LOL I know I shouldn't focus on the negative and UGH is it hard not to.

    Ok day three DONE! woo hoo 87 more days to go and only 75 more workouts untill completion of my first round hmm I cant wait untill that starts sounding better LOL Its a little far off still lol --sumi
  • I have not done too well for the past couple of days ... Monday was good ... I came in at 1435 calories, but it's gone downhill since then! Tuesday was 1720 and Wednesday was 2110approx It's that time of month again and I feel huge and bloated, and I'm craving things that I know I shouldn't put into my mouth! Yesterday was so high because I went out to lunch with a friend ... we were going to watch a movie but as we had time to spare before it started we went to a nearby hotel and had the buffet lunch! I knew it was a mistake when I agreed to it because I knew I wouldn't be able to resist certain things! Oh well, what's done is done , I'll just have to put it down to experience and try to do better from now on.

    So far today ...
    B - Cereal with skimmed milk
    S - Apple
    L - Cheddar cheese/salad Sandwich (shouldn't have had cheese )

    Calories so far today ... 850

    Have no idea what to have for dinner tonight .....
