  • I have been seriously looking to buying a home gym or maybe the bean like my mil has, I need something!
  • Howdy ladies...

    SASSY...you know the cheapest and easiest form of exercising is walking. You can't beat it. You don't have to go out and try to do a marathon right off the bat. But start slow...maybe ten minutes a day and then add 5 minutes and as you get used to walking you can add more time. All you need is some good walking shoes and you're good to go. JMHO I know it's hard to fit in exercise with your work schedule but you can't beat walking and you can do that any time.

    JULES...good for you for going to the gym!

    I went to IF this morning and did a one mile walk so off to a good week.
  • Hey Cristina -- yeah I have the WATP DVD that I can do, but I did want to add some weights maybe to it too.
  • Gotcha SASSY...adding weights is a good thing. I think that is why I go to It Figures. I can feel the muscle in my legs and I never thought I would like squats but I love the way they make me feel. One day I will havea tight arse, saggy, but tight, lol!

    I did get to It Figures today and as always it feels good to go and get that work out. I've been doing a little extra too so hoping to see a drop on the scale when I weigh in.

    Hope everyone else it doing fine.
  • I hear ya Cristina on the tight bum, that would be a nice dream, for me......But someday we both will be there!

    I didn't get in my exercise yesterday, so just have to try harder today!
  • Got my 2 miles in today! Glad I did it early because I was pooped after shopping.
  • Wow you go girl! I need to do something. UGH. I just have no energy lately and I know if I exercised it would help, but the problems is getting the energy to exercise! lol.

    But I vow to do better this week!
  • No exercise for me over the weekend. But getting back on track today and I vow to get in 6 days this week. Not going to It Figures today because of the weather/streets but will be doing a 2 mile walk once I get off the computer.

    Today is a new day ladies!
  • Okay, got in a 30 mn walk and went to It Figures so that's a full 60 minute work-out and man do I feel it! it feels goooood though. I always dread working out but once I do it I always feel better. Hoping the scales reflect that come Saturday's WI.

    How is everyone else doing?
  • WTG, Cristina! I didn't get in any exercise...... I am going to try to at least do something tonight though.
  • Didn't do so great with my exercise this past week. Just wasn't in the mood. I did get in two days and that was it, sad. Next week will be a better week for me. The last two days were just too busy but I did get in a walk at the mall, and not a little, casual stroll. I do powerwalking. I guess from walking so much I tend to walk a little fast all the time even when I'm at the mall or any place. DD is always telling me to slow down, lol. Since I have to be gone for 2 hours tomorrow for the open house, I am going to the park and get in a good walk. Ernie dog is dying for one as well. It's supposed to be cold but...you gotta do what ya gotta do.
