  • Bump cuz someone was askin'
  • Seafood, .... lots of it.. salmon, squid, sardines, it's all good.

Don't forget these sources of protein:

    nuts (especially almonds,walnuts)
    sprouted seeds
whole grains (all types especially quinoa)
    seaweed (all edible types)
    beans (all kinds.. )
    vegetables in abundance

It is important to get enough protein, but it is not a good idea to have too much. Eating too much protein interferes with the body's absorption of calcium. That is one of the many reasons why I think it is a good idea to limit protein from animal sources like poultry, beef, pork etc.
  • you can try a protien shake. thats what i have been doing and it has worked out great. i was eating only like 20g of protien a day before i started. i am vegetarian and it is very difficult to get my protien intake up without going over on calories. also, tofu is a very good option, so is yogurt. one thing i`ve found that i like alot that may work especially well for meat eaters is the stuff called smart ground. basically, its tofu, but its fat free and seasoned and looks a lot like ground beef. you can season it to be spicy or whatever just like ground beef and you can use it anywhere you would ground beef. it has no fat and i think 9g protien per serving. this is a fabulous option. seafood is good, but you have to be careful because many seafoods have a high mersury content and are dangerous to eat more than once or twice a week.
