I use the Pure Protein, too. Some are 21 g and some 35. I buy the 21g protein cans at Trader Joes (vanilla or chocolate). Almost as rich & creamy as IP! The PP website doesn't show this version...

Your logic is right on drinking half, however when I looked up the nutritional label, I found calories from fat are greater than 30%. I'd stick with shakes that fit the profile of IP foods better

I'd count them as restricted but perhaps alternate with some lower-carb restricted. Some other IP restricted have similar profile but many are lower carb/calorie. Or, you could also get some quest...
