Per the GFGC Guide, it is allowed only as an occasional treat - too much other crud in it. You can make the ice cream in a plastic bag and have it OP. I'll try to find the recipe.
This is great Ruth...thanks! Think I'll save the sf/ff for when I'm out with the family at an ice cream shop! They have a couple of good ones around here and it's nice to be able to join them and pretty much still be OP!
