I would say yes to both - they are not affecting your fat loss, but may be making you retain water.
I quit smoking 2 years ago, and my doctor told me it could cause fluid retention for around 10 days. She did explain the science to me at the time, but I cant remember it now, but be assured it did make sense!
The usual advice for water retention is to drink more water - so maybe try that.
You're doing so well to have reached day 10 - I'm sure the scale will show that welcome downward shift very soon.
