Metamucil or Benefiber

Is anyone taking Metamucil or Benefiber 15 min. before a meal?
How much are you taking and do you notice if it helps?
Which brand do you reccomend?

I'm not taking it but I think both brands are the same thing. How much are you losing now? Dr A recommends it as it fills you up before a meal. I think the ususal dosage is a rounded teaspoon.

I take metamucil in capsule form as needed. If I haven't "gone" yet that day or since the day before I will take it at lunch or dinner. I take 2 before the aforementioned meal. I never needed this in the past but SBD has kind of changed my potty habits :o
