  • Try it with lettuce or cucumber slices or grated carrot. That will moisten it up!
  • No sugar added fruit spread isn't allowed?
  • No, Jennifer... it still has natural sugars in it, which is like eating a piece of fruit.
  • So Phase 2 would be ok? Or have I just totally overlooked this!!
  • OK for Phase II. Now I'm craving!
  • I thought peanut butter was a no-no.

dammit i need to get my book back from my mil.
  • No sugar and no trans fat is ok, in small amounts. The natural peanut butters fit the bill. Actually, he might not have said natural peanut butter, but he does say no hydrogenated fats, etc, and most peanut butter has that. Smuckers makes a WONDERFUL natural peanut butter in a low fat version, which I think is much tastier than the full fat one.

I can't remember the limit - I don't have my book handy. Probably no more than a couple of tablespoons a day!
  • 2TBS/day is the correct amount of PB. I know this b/c I LOVE PB and I make sure that I have some almost daily
