Mayo?Blue Cheese?
What's the deal with Mayo? Can you have the real stuff or not? I am only about 80 pages into the book, but I saw that you can have tuna salad. I thought low fat was the trick here, but Dr. A said to use the real stuff. When do you know to go low fat?
Also, someone mentioned that you can have Marie's Blue Cheese dressing. I realize that the oil part is probably okay, but what about the Blue Cheese part. Is it low fat, or doesn't it matter. Help! :?: |
Good Carbs/Good Fats says NOT to use no fat or low fat mayo.Use the real mayo - not Miracle Whip which should have only limited use.
Blue cheese is to be avoided according to the book. My sympathies! I love the stuff! BUT the book also says that reduced fat blue cheese dressing is OK! Yippee! Now if I could only find it this side of the border. |
:?: I'm soooo confused .....

I didn't realize blue cheese dressing was off limits. I read in one of his interviews that we can any salad dressing if it is below 3 grams of sugar per serving and mine is. I'll look for that quote and post it if I find it.
