i don't understand...pls help :D

  • ok so i'm almost done readin the book and almost ready to start the SBD but i have one question which is sorta stupid but has been buggin me never the less......ok so it says to avoid all dairy products(lowfat milk, fat free milk, yogurt, soy etc) in the first phase but yet in the meal plans it says we can have milk with our coffee or tea in the morning....am i missin something here? any help or advice would be great. thanx girls
  • Well, the book has been revised. Please use the Phase I Food LIst from this FAQ Forum. Dairy IS now allowed and the food list has been expanded.
  • It always confused me also when I first started, because the book specifically allowed cheese and yogurt (? I think) and I always thought they were dairy.

    I'm very happy it was changed to allow 2 cups of low fat or fat free dairy daily.

  • PennyLane, not only can you have dairy (Skim or 1% only, though) in Phase 1, but you should try to get 3 servings of milk or yogurt in daily. You can have plain yogurt in Phase 1 (use SF syrups to sweeten and flavor it). Those three servings help reduce belly fat. Cheese nor calcium supplements work the way that milk and yogurt do, so drink/eat up!
