Apples on Phase 1??

  • Hi, first day on phase one and I'm following the foods, not so much the book.

    Can I have an apple on phase 1? I know that fruit is banned, but it really helps keep me regular, if you know what I mean.
    I would add a little PB with it to get some protein as well.

    But really, is an apple a day going to jeopardize my weight loss?

  • Phase I should be followed to the letter if it is to be successful in reducing cravings. Try adding more beans and other legumes with plenty of water to keep you regular.
  • You can also use supplements like SF Fiber One pills or natural fiber supplements.

    No fruit for 2 weeks if you want to be rid of sugar cravings!
  • I actually find all the veggies help keep things moving for me. And people swear by chia for the same thing.
