Doesn't feel well on SB

My boyfriend is on Phase 1 of the SB diet and has been on it for a week. He has lost 3 pounds and that is wonderful, however, he said that he feels sick, has no energy and is dizzy. He is also a type II diabetic and I am wondering if this might have something to do with it. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for your help.

It sounds to me like a blood sugar issue. Phase I is not recommended for Diabetics! Did he check with his doctor? Perhaps he should do Phase II as diabetics need a few more carbs than in Phase I.
