Nut Butter Bars (must be kept refrigerated to keep their firmness - only downside)
1 c. slivered almonds
1 c. hazelnuts
1.5 c. pecans
2/3 c. flax meal
2/3 c. shredded coconut (unsweetened)
1/4 almond butter
1/2 t. salt
1.5 t. molasses
1/4 c. melted coconut oil
optional - chopped dried fruit or dark choc. chips
**Pulse all the nuts, molasses, nut butter, shredded coconut in food processor (may have to do half at a time). Slowly drizzle in oil until paste consistency. Stir in fruit or choc if using. Scrape batter into 8 x 8 pan. Chill for at least one hour before cutting.
