ohhh everyone has Boston's! I am getting one at the end of the month, I picked out this little girl http://www.saltypickles.com/puppy/girl.jpg - my boyfriend hasn't even seen her pictures yet (I just told the lady today that I wanted) we orginaly picked a male and then the lady called and said someone had changed their mind about this female. I don't know what to call her yet - any ideas?

Courtnie, she's GORGEOUS!!!!! I'm happy to hear that you finally found a dog, and a Boston too! Got me to thinkin about one now, seein those cute baby pics!!

No idea on the name though...that's the hardest part besides picking a puppy out of a litter.

We had a little boy picked out and we were going to call him Oscar. At this time the lady only had two boys left. And then she called and told us another women had backed out and now there was a girl left! After some hard thinking and talking to her I picked the girl! She told me that the puppy likes to lay on its back and have its tummy rubbed and that is a sign of a good dog! And it won't pee on my stuff! hehe I can't wait to get her!

Courtney: My daughter is very good at picking out names and she just came up with Oreo. I was thinking unoriginal names like Poopsie...but I like Oreo!! She looks just like one!! My cat was named Alice...before we found out she was a he...then he became Peter Pan and then Tinkerbell and then a million other names and he ended up just being named Kitty.

Oreo is our vote!

But on the ohter hand...I like Sondra...from the movie Milo and Otis...she was Otis's girlfriend. "Sondra...the French pronounciation..." I love that movie.

I thought Oreo too, the problem with Oreo... that her's mom's name! haha Also my boyfriend knows some girl and her nickname is Oreo and he HATES her and said no to that name right of the bat.

I also thought Flower, like the skunk from Bambi but he said no to that too!

Some other names, are Checkers, Ocra, Basil, Skittles, Apples, Soda, and so many more. Everyone keeps throwing out names, I need to keep a better list!

Okay, my daughter just thought of Daisy. I like that, too...add it to your list!! :D

Pachyderm 07-13-2006 07:40 AM

What about Fleur - French for flower!

Or Bella meaning beautiful

4 year old granddaughter just got a new black and white kitten & her mom and dad told her she could name it anything she wanted.

She named the poor thing "Skunk".

.....not that i am suggesting that name for your puppy or anything. ;)

sotypical 07-17-2006 01:32 PM

Tell her to call it FLOWER like the SKUNK ON BAMBI!

I think we are thinking of calling her Dori like the fish from Nemo... its the only name my boyfriend and I can agree on so far! He won't let me name her anything related to a flower :( No daisy, posie, lavandar, none of that!

This is my 15 pound cat Charky!!! Isn't he huge?!! I tried putting him on a diet, and he just gained more weight. He's going to be 12 in September.

Cemetary Siren, I have a Simon kitty too! Here is my Simon, he is the baby at 9 months and is the 'skinny' one in our house [that is my fiance holding him in the pic]:

And here is a pic of my other kitty, Pandora [we call her Pandy]. Pandy is almost 2, and is a bit of a chub-chub at ~11 lbs but she was my first kitty and I love her and loved to spoil her! ;) Right now we've got both the cats on Science Diet, hoping that will help her lose a pound or two. I was feeding her Meow Mix until my vet said it's basically the equivalent of kitty junk food. :p
