I forgot to comment on the cat vid, it was hilarious.
An update, on kitty. She's very much become Chub Chub. For once, hubby and I are calling a cat the same name, well relatively. He mostly call her Chub Chub, and I tend to call her the Lady Chub Chub (often speaking to her in the royal third person, "and how is the Lady Chub Chub, this morning."
She's so funny - mostly because she seems so serious all the time. Our GirlyGirl had much more of a kitten's personality, where Chub Chub very much is an adult (sometimes the only adult in the house, and she acts as though she knows it). GirlyGirl's meow at treat time was a plaintive request, where ChubChub's is a harsh demand (more a roar than a meow).
This morning, we introduced Chub Chub to our neighbor's cat Mead (short for Ganymede). Both cats are territorial dames, so we let them meet in the doorway, John holding his Mead and David holding ChubChub. Neither cat hissed, but the each were going to great lengths to avoid eye contact with one another (it was funny to see their heads go in every direction except facing the cat in front of them).
Not exactly a successful meeting, but not too terrible. We've talked on and off about sharing a house to save expenses, so were trying to see if the gals would get along. Given their concerted "non-response," we suspect it might work out ok, with each gal working out her own territory.
