Well here is my family..My pride and joy..My two sons...They happen to be dachshunds, but they don't know it. Oscar is almost 1, he is a blk/tan DD doxie, and Bo is a choc/tan dapple.

Mary, I just saw this post, and you're puppies are adorable! My boyfriends family has 3 doxies (mom, day, and daugher) and I have fallen in love with them! We sneak one home for a sleepover about once a week. :) I think they are just the best dogs. We were going to take the baby, but decided since we're in an apartment right now and neither one of us is home all day, she'd be better off with her mom and dad where they have full reign over the backyard! We plan to get one next May when I'll be home for the summer to potty train it. Anyways, here are some pics! The first is of Lucky and Lucy (mom and dad) snuggled up in their bed. The second is of Libby, their puppy. There was one other puppy in the litter but it didn't make it. :(

Awwwwwwwwww! They are absolutely precious! Doxies are really good dogs. Other than being stubborn to potty train LOL.

Awe, look at all the widdle babies (I call all dogs and cats as well as pups and kittens babies, lol) ! They are all just precious!

They look so soft and sweet, like they need their belly patted!

I also have a daschund. She is black and tan. We decided to name her Gracie, and she is now 8 weeks old. I think I inserted the pic correctly.

OMG What a cute wittle puppy! Cherish them and tak lots of pics....They grow up SO fast.

Your babies are beautiful!! I have two weinies as well. Houston is 4, a 9 lb blk/tan dapple smooth. Dallas is is almost 3, 14 lb choc/tan smooth.

Dachshunds are marvelous companions. My only issues have been the aforementioned stubborness and the infamous dachsie mouth... Dallas barks if a squirrel farts, and always has to have the last word!!

such sweet babies! I have a dachsund that is going to be 6 this year in may.. He's my precious boy :) He's perfect in every way except he will eat pretty much anything & his breath smells like rotten fish (the two are probably related issues.. hahaha) anyone else have an issue w/ their doxie's breath?

The town I live in has a big Dachshund weekend in the summer ever year. They have a big parade and other events. People bring their dogs in from all over.
