Can I join in?

We just got our internet back after 5 weeks without (moved into a new house and they had no internet/phone/cable out here until last week).

My name is Raelynn, I live in Alberta Canada with my husband and almost-6 year-old daughter. I work fulltime (for now) as a reports manager for a collections agency at a call center. We found out we were expecting #2 about 2.5 weeks ago, and we are thrilled.

I am hoping to maintain my weight throughout my pregnancy, and come out of it weighing less than I started. This pending my doctors permission of course, but I don't have my first appt till May 23. With my daughter I gained 17 lbs and weighed less afterwards (she was almost 10 lbs), but I am 25 lbs heavier now than I was when I got pregnant with her, so I'm preparing to hear a lecture from my doctor about not gaining too much. I am also hoping for a VBAC with this baby.

I can't wait to get to know everyone! :)

I gained 19 lbs. with first pregnancy and 20 lbs. with second. I breast-fed both and was at least 15 lbs. below pre-pregnancy weight at 6 weeks check-ups. I didn't diet during pregnancy just worked on my feet as a nurse up until they were born and for some reason, craved tons of fruit and salad with each time. Good luck. Eating healthy is great when you are pregnant. My oldest step-daughter is expecting 2nd baby on June 8th, she's gained 60 lbs. like she did with first baby. She did lose all but about 10 of those extra lbs. after 1st baby. i expect she will lose the weight again, bad thing is, I'm using all her clothes right now and I'll have to go buy me some more.
