We're eating solids!
I started him off on one meal a day of rice cereal mixed with breast milk, then started mixing it with juice. Did that for a couple of weeks before his 4 month shots and doc said go ahead and move up to three meals. He had trouble adjusting to three off the bat, so we did two for a week, then moved to three. He eats like a pig and still breastfeeds throughout the day.
At his 4 month checkup on 2/6, he was 17.5 pounds (90th percentile) and 27 inches (95th percentile). Here's a cute one of him I don't think I've ever posted. He was just a few weeks old here: http://www.techtrek.com/Hold/JVMF/Mi...n%20Shades.jpg And here's one from just this month: http://www.techtrek.com/Hold/JVMF/Hop%20on%20Pop.jpg And here's momma. Was still at 158 here, but down to 155 now: http://www.techtrek.com/Hold/AlmostH...ost%20Preg.jpg |

What a cutie!!! Glad to hear he is lovin his new food choices.
And go mom! you look fabulous! :) |
Thanks. I do break down from time-to-time, but I generally stay on track. IE: Tonight I had a Boston Creme Krispy Kreme donut. But then again...that was my entire dinner. I have to decide to make a sacrifice if the donut is worth it to me. LOL So, since it replaced dinner, I don't do that often. Maybe every other week I'll splurge.
