I was pointed in this direction as there isnt a TTC forum but i just wondered if there was anyone out there ttc again , im currently ttc#2 so would like to chat to some other in same predicament , trying to get pregnant and losing weight at the same time :)

There's a "Getting Healthy To Get Pregnant" thread just below this one, most people on there are TTC or hoping to soon. :)

I hadn't looked for that, but I'm going to be TTC again once I get to a healthy weight, plus I have to have some surgery before I get started. I'll check it out with you!

As I sit here typing, I am hoping conception is occurring. Can't get more TTC than that. After a failed round of IVF, my husband and I have moved on to donor sperm. This is our second round of that--the first, in November, failed. The procedure was this morning, so I'll know in 10-14 days. I really want this to work: it's been 18 months since we made the "go" decision, and while I spent most of that losing weight, it seems like we've been in this pre-baby mode forever.

Shmead, I am there with you. For me its been obstacle after obstacle. I have PCOS and dont ovulate...then we found out my husband had a varicocele and had poor morphology and swimmers...he had surgery. In Jan hes healed and his counts are normal! but when I went in for an US to start injections...I found out I have a cyst. Its always something! the waiting is painful. Hang in there you arent alone! good luck.
