zofran - ondansetron
 

So on Sat my dr. put me on the generic version of zafran to help with the nausea. I took it and was able to each lunch, but a few hours later I felt sicker than ever - abdominal cramping, headache, sever nausea,etc. So I took it again - genius that I am - and was able to eat again, but woke up Sat night with the same awful symptoms, but worse. All day Sun I couldn't get out of bed because I felt so sick. Today I am up and moving, but still not feeling great. I am blaming it on the medicine and I think that I'd rather feel kind of lousy all day than really awful after the med wears off.

Have any of you had a similar experience? I've only heard good things about zofran, so I am considering asking the dr. if we can adjust the dose, etc., but my gut is telling me to just not touch the stuff anymore.
