New here, bfing 4 mo. old son...

Hi everyone... My fourth child, Everett, was born in April.. I'm breastfeeding him (although I've had supply issues with every child so far and this one is no different, so he's getting some formula while I work, and maybe a little now and then because he cries when he doesn't get enough milk... and I do let him nurse an extra 5 - 10 mins after emptying each breast...)..

I obviously don't want to hurt my supply any more than it is now! :) IS there anything I should know about exercising while nursing? I'm going to be changing the way I eat (starting today!) to more healthy varieties so maybe that'll help too...

Thanks! Now that I've started, I'm excited to get going!

Have you ever tried taking fenugreek for supply issues? It's available in capsule form at most health food stores. I think GNC has it, too.

I just wanted to say WELCOME!!

It has been a long time since I nursed a kid...my baby is almost 8 years old. I will be nursing again in about another 4 months so I would like to see the responses too.

Good for you for not giving up. My son was a hard baby to nurse also. I had plenty of supply, but he just did not want to latch on. It took him almost 2 months to get the hang of it and at times I wanted to give up. Once he got the hang of it - he went to town for 10 months.

Good luck!
