Question about pregnancy weight!

I just had a baby 5 months ago, yes i know i should of been losing weight along time ago.. but i was wondering , is it harder to lose weight after you have a baby cause it seems how hard i am trying I'm not losing weight like ti use to.. :)

I think there are alot of changes your body has gone through. After a baby, nothing happens like it used to. Keep working hard and you will see results.

thank you for your reply !!! I know it going to be hard.. I just have to remember to keep trying.. i keep telling myself... it was worth the weight i gained to have my precious lil angel..

I had two kids -- one 9 years ago and one 5 years ago -- unfortunately I'm still trying to lose the weight :dizzy:

I think it's harder just due to the creativity you have to show to get some exercise in, the lack of sleep and the quick meals you sometimes need to make.

But, like you said -- the little peanut made it all worth it. I wouldn't trade my two guys for the 100 pounds I have to lose!! (Not that they caused the whole 100 -- just a mear 40 of it :D)

Take care of yourself and you will lose the weight -- just think by the time your baby is walking you could be close to your goal!!

I don't know, I have 4 kids the oldest 11 years ago, and the last 13 months ago. I've always managed to lose the baby weight plus some. I always thought that it was due to breastfeeding, but my mom breastfed her five and only lost half each time.

i couldnt breastfeed but 2 months i didnt produce enough milk and i was pumping every 2 hours.. she was a lil milk monster, that and she got lazy she didnt want to suck after we gave a bottle...(daddy, grandma bonding time).. thats good that you could lose it all after you had your children i think im going to have to work VERY VERY hard to get it off.. :D
p.s thank you to everyone for posting..

Depends on how much you put on too. I put on 60 pounds with this one. 6 months later, I've just got 9 lbs to go to get to my pre-pg weight of 144. Would have great to have lost it all in 5 weeks but it would have taken a miracle - or the loss of all four limbs!

i put on 46lbs lost 36 in the 7 months postpartum---
