anyone have PCOS

Hello. I was just wondering if there was anyone that was or is pregnant and has POCS and got pregnant with just weight loss.

I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 1/2 years. I have been trying to lose weight because my Dr said that it would help if I lost weight.

You may want to pop over to the PCOS forum on this. Also, SoulCysters has TONS on this. I wish you well with this - must be hard trying and not being successful.

I did! I used Clomid to get pg with DS 5 years ago shortly after my PCOS diagnosis. I don't remember what my weight was specifically but it was considerably higher than it is now.
We've been TTC #2 for about 2 years and I lost a crap load (90 pounds) of weight in the last year. While my cycles never got "regular", I obviously ovulated because at some point I got a positive test yesterday! We were even on a break while DH finished his last quarter at school. Surprise!
Weight loss only- it can be done!

I am getting tested for PCOS this week. I have an appointment for my bloodwork to be done and hormones to be tested. I am so nervous that I won't be able to have kids because of the PCOS (if I have it)...but I am trying to lose weight 'just in case'. Just by losing 10 pounds, initially, I got my period back, which I hadn't seen for a year and half. So....weight really does affect the body!

Hi! Yes! I have PCOS and was told that when I was ready to get pregnant that I would most likely need to have some sort of fertility treatments....however, after losing 50 lbs - got down to about 165 lbs) my husband and I had a wonderful surprise and I am now 15 weeks pregnant. So there is hope for you! Message me if you have any questions!! Good luck!
