CRAVING pizza..help!
 
Does anyone have any really yummy/healthy pizza recipes that they love?
I have been craving pizza for weeks now and refuse to go buy a greasy slice from a local place (I wouldnt anyhow because seeing as how I dont eat greasy oily foods anymore, the smell and taste of grease makes me sick). So I was wonder if any of you have any recipes they make themselves that they absolutely love that are quick, easy, and not crazy high in points? Dough and all the fixings.

You can make your own pizza dough it's just water, salt, yeast and a little olive oil. For toppings I do BBQ sauce, chicken and red onion with a small amount of cheese. Or a brush of pesto, arugula, shrimp and mushrooms with some parm. Or even just plain old tomato sauce with some measured cheese.

I usually make a regular batch of dough, divide into 4 pieces and make 4 small pizzas, then freeze 3 with the contents labeled on them.

Count the points and get it out of your system. I am having some tonight and will be going into some of my flex points, but it will be worth it. There are lots of places that serve up less greasy pies, so go for it, if you have the points.

Mmm! That BBQ Chicken Pizza sounds so yummy! I am going to have to make that this week. Thanks for the great idea!

Pizza soup

I use one small can of sliced mushrooms,
some diced peppers, chopped Canadian bacon, cover in tomato juice and use
a generous shake of oregano, and some mozzerella. Microwave until hot.
Sometimes I throw a couple of black olives on top.

I just did this the other night and my children said it was better than take out!

Brush the bottom of a WW tortilla with a little olive oil and sprinkle with a little garlic or onion salt.

Top with cheese (no sauce yet) and other toppings. (I used green, yellow, red peppers, onions and banana peppers). Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. AFTER is is baked, spread on a touch of sauce.

Yes, the sauce is not in its traditional spot, but this is the only method I've found that it doesn't turn out soggy.

Well I just went out and bought whole wheat pita pockets. Medium round ones and I wanna do likeeee marinara sauce with garlic cloves, reduced fat shredded cheese, spinach, and possibly either low fat ricotta cheese or low fat fresh mozzarella at some point if I can find everything I want for it. Sound tasty?

I also bought some Whole Wheat the bolboli I think and was planning on putting Paul Newmans Marina and some Cheese, and Yes, i do have a bag of spinach so maybe I should put that on there .oh.. mushrooms, they are here to. Oh, as i think, it's nice to have something to put on the thing that's not point heavy.

I came here looking for how to fix a pizza I can love also.

Spinach and feta is great!!!

I use whole wheat tortillas. I put them in the oven while it's warming up then take them out and put sauce and other ingredients on it and bake. That has been the key of not having a soggy pizza. It's real crisp and satisfying.

I am a pizza-holic. I usually just through a whole wheat pita with sauce and mozz in the toaster oven :)

I eat 1/4th of a Freshetta Brick Oven pizza (360 calories). If you fear you would eat more, consider Celeste's Pizza for One. (Local grocery store frozen food).

I love Flatout wraps for this! They're nice and thick and hold the pizza toppings.

I take one wrap, lightly brush with EVOO ... add some zero point sauce (basically pureed tomatoes with spices), a little LF shredded cheese, diced onion and fresh basil. It's SO good.
