My endocrinologist put me on the Sugar Busters diet and I've found that when I'm faithful to eat according to that plan I don't crave carbs (or sweets) as bad.
I do eat the sugar free ice cream occasionally and that helps with the sweet cravings, but if I eat it too much/too often I want sweets all the time.
You need to reduce the amount of sugar, starches and fruits in your diet. These all increase cravings, whether they be sugar cravings or hunger cravings.
SolShine, you sound like a carbogydrate addict (have to be one to know one)!!! I've been on a version thereof of the atkins program, and have lost all cravings for sweets, and also am never hungry. It's the easiest program I have ever been on. I have lost 42 pounds in 6 weeks.
Paula, what gives? You have this wonderful program, you lost a TON of weight in very little time, and you won't tell us the name of it or where to get it! Congratulations, by the way. Now, please, share?
