Hi Jen - Thanks for the info. I do have a family history of Alzheimers, but no PCOS (that I know of) - maybe it's connected. Thanks for the affirmation - it's so nice to have this message board and know I'm not crazy.

I am also trying to get pregnant. I just recently found out that I have PCOS and haven't been able to conceive on my own. I start clomid in two weeks, I am little nervous but I am also hoping really hard. My husband and I don't have any kids yet. I am also taking Glucophage at 850 mg 2x's a day which is increasing to 1000mg 2x's a day. I agree on mental clarity and depression. I never used to forget peoples names and lately I can't think straight and forget someones name that I have known for a long time. I am glad that I am not alone.

Hi Carebear - Let me know how you do on the clomid - we just completed one month of it, with no preg yet. Next month we double the dosage. I've also started to to work out a little - trying to start doing yoga - except a back injury has flared up - may need to just walk.
