Welcome, Creativan. I am done with kids, and DH has a vasectomny. But I haven't yet dealt in menopause hormone shifts. I also have hypothyroid and other issues so I see my endoc to stay on top of the conditions present/future.
Welcome back Sassy! Haven't read the glucorein thing so thanks for the link! Sounds like you guys made a big decision with stopping infertility route. I'm not at 40 just yet but I'm looking forward to it too. Me? Still no period. 151 days, dude. That's like 5 cycles of non-action. I'm waiting for this latest round of "PMS wannabe" to die down (lose the bloat, yen for sweets, etc.) I feel robbed. I get all the fun of "ramp up" but no actual period action to bring on the relief. On 1000 mg Met, and still ramping up so we'll see I guess how it unfolds. Looking forward to kid in school. Then I'm going to try (AGAIN!) on the gym front. Childcare issues will no longer be childcare issues. Eldercare issues is another story but... optimism, right? Never a dull moment! :smug: A. |
Wheat free all day yesterday. Today -- so far so good.
Nose congestion and ear pain clearing up. Blood sugar stable, solid. Baby steps.... A. |
YAY! Astrophe!
I've been doing my Whole30 and I've been doing great. Last night, sadly, I took a "break" and had a glass of wine and a taste (amazing, it was only a taste) of cake. This has to be my way of eating, permanently. It just makes me feel so good. |
Some croutons snuck in on my Panera soup. Ooops! I need to be more mindful!
But other than that mistake... wheat free today. Go me! A. |
I'm happy that I got back from a work trip and didn't gain weight! YAY me.
Ok, so the trip wasn't long, and I really fought to eat healthy, but it's such a drastic change from when I travel. Another work trip is coming up, I'm hoping I can also handle it. |
