Has anybody here had large cysts that were succesfully shrunk with medication? I had a doctor recently ask me if I had been offered birth control pills for this by my endo, and I have not. If anybody has used bc pills to shrink cysts, or has used any other medication, I'd love to hear about it!

Hi Jennifer,

I had a cyst the size of a small grapefruit and I was given bcp's to shrink it. They worked great. It took about one month for it to totally go away but it felt much better in about 3 days. Good Luck. Cysts are no fun.

Thanks for replying! Do you know if your cyst was fluid? Mine is solid, but according to the CT scan, it isn't the shape or texture (not the word I am looking for...) of a cancerous growth.
