Bad news...ruined my goal. I've gone to 5 different grocery stores looking for chawanmushi (it's a steamed egg custard with vegetables, seafood, and sometimes a little meat cooked in and as I'd seen microwavable versions, I figured it would be quicker in the morning than making eggs)...and I found it at 7-11 when I went to pay my electric bill. I checked the nutrition facts and the 8 grams of protein/40 kcals per cup in this particular recipe was too good to pass up. TT^TT /failure

Edit: Not that it changes the fact that I failed, but I DID make a point of riding my bike past 3 other 7-11s to go to the one about 8km from my apartment so that I could get more exercise in. In the process I learned that there's lots of super sketchy hotels near where I live o.O

Congrats on losing a dress size, that's amazing!

MrsH- Grats on meeting your exercise goal

I didn't do as well in June as I had hoped. I lost a little over 11 pounds, but I haven't exercised in a while. I did stick to the metformin, and kept my eating under control (for the most part), but I really need to get back to exercising. I'm happy I didn't give up, though.

Good luck this month!
