The positivity report
We all make mistakes everyday on our journeys to more healthful versions of ourselves. Some days they might be bigger slipups. Other days they may be minuscule. BUT everyday we also make great choices! Big or small, let's celebrate the healthy choices we made today!
For me: I passed on the pizza and breadsticks my family was having for dinner and made myself a salad. Also, I felt the urge to eat a mountain of junk but ate a single serving of candy instead so I was able to still reach my daily calorie goal. Was it a perfect day? No way! But I am going to focus on the good things I did today and try to do a little better tomorrow. What did you do for you today? |
I mostly stuck to calories planned in my food log though I let in some guacamole when we ate at Chipotle. My net was -700 calories, so still fine.
I avoided bread (allergist appt soon) but I was ok with pasta at dinner (for some reason this does not make me clog up like bread does. I do not know why. Maybe it's more a yeast thing and not a wheat thing? Allergist can figure it out.) I went bowling and got family activity in I took my vitamins and my thyroid med. Yay! :) A. |
I work out every day of the week except Saturday, and I eat back exercise calories, so it can be hard to hit my allowance on Saturdays. I came in 16 calories under today, so hooray for small victories :)

I got some good cheese today. You know, 'spensive, hard block of real and fancy cheese. I love cheese.
SO! I had some, BUT I weighed it all out! Was it a little more than maybe I should've had? Yes... but I TRACKED IT! I measured it before it went in my mouth :yes: |
I ate half a pack of Hostess Crumb Donettes and threw the rest away after I saw it had 60grams of carbs per pack. Not great, but not bad either..

I havent exercised since I started WW, but last night I went to my swing dancing class for the first time in months. So much fun, I dont know why I ever stopped!

Swing dancing, how fun! I always wanted to take a dancing class because I am so clumsy and feel self-conscious when I dance. How was it? Is it a good workout?

Do tell. Because I don't know if I'll ever get to try it. DH is a wallflower. So I'll live vicariously through your dancing. :)

I got all my h2o in today and only had one 20oz diet pop.

Stayed on track food log wise -- even with going out for starbucks date with a friend. I stuck to the one planned latte and left it at that. Go me!

Did my workout even though my workout buddy was "sick" and didn't join me as planned. It was a really good workout though :)

I stopped at 5 tsps of roasted peanuts instead of eating the whole damn jar.

I bowled a 123! One of my best!
And my kid beat me with 124! I don't even know which pleases me more -- my own improvement and this game or hers. :carrot: A. |

I've doing so amazingly well since I got back from my last trip... I arrived with my weight higher, but I've already dropped 3 lbs since then!!!! All of that because I've kept it veryyyyyy loooooow carb and I've been eating within my calories and really tracking my hunger. One more trip and then I can dedicate myself back to losing the rest of the weight!!!!! |
