I have it too, drives me crazy!! I've never looked into the causes and whatnot, but I'm sure there's something that can be done.

Well, it depends what it is coming from. Is it actually restless legs syndrome?

Or more like joint paint or aches?

Or a simple things -- my shoes are no longer supportive and I need new shoes? My mattress is old and not comfy?

Have you started or stopped meds recently?

I have this "buzzy" feeling sometimes down the side of my leg that acts up. But that's from a pinched nerve thing I got when I had to push my car for a ways when it conked out on me once. Anything like that happen to you?

And when I get the "legs falling asleep" feeling I know it's circulation because frankly, obesity does things like that. I have to lose down to lower for that to stop again.

Could even be nutrition related -- you doing ok with all your vits and minerals? Low in iron? That could be RLS related.

HTH!
A.

A medication called Requip helps but the side effects are so annoying that it may not be worth it.

For me, it turned out cause was caffeine. I notice I only got on nights I had been drinking diet coke late in the day. Figured it had to be the caffeine or the Nutrasweet in them. Experiments proved it was the caffeine.

I haven't been on any med changes lately or anything with my nerves.. For a few years now I have had just random nights that my legs get so antsy and restless that I can't sleep. It's super annoying though. I end up walking around, getting my bf to rub them with lotion... Bless him lol.
