Feeling really emotional... is it my metformin?

Hey my fellow PCOSers, I have been on Metformin for 2 weeks now and I have been very emotional. Has any one had high emotions as a side effect? I feel like crying all the time.

hi Babble! Thanks for the well wishes. I hope thats what it is and everything balances out soon. Between high emotions and all the other side effects something is going to have to give. But hey I know the met is doing its job.

I've been really emotional, which annoys me because I tend to be logical rather than emotional. It's been a while since I was on Met though so I don't remember exactly when it would be in relation to having started that or coming off that or....

I do know that when I'm not on BCP, I get really emotional around ovulation time (weepies) and then I get really snappy and irritable at menses.
