Default Wholle wheat and low carbs?

Okay, I know all about how low carbs are important. I am probable PCOS.....and I do not eat meat...so I do eat more carbs than I should. My question, is whole wheat pasta good, or is it as bad as regular? Also, what about whole wheat bread over white and brown rice over white? Any better...or just stillt eh same amount of carbs? Tahnks in advance. Lauren

Default

Whole wheat pasta is fine (Barilla), but again, portion control. The reason regular pasta is bad is because it contains white flour and sugar, both refined carbs which makes the insulin spike faster. Whole Wheat makes the insulin spike slower which is what we want. Brown rice is also fine, IN PORTION CONTROL. LOL.
