Just diagnosed. have a question
 

Hi:) I've bee non the site before but not this forum. I havent posted in awhile...They put me on progesterone(prometrium) and metformin. I have not yet got the metformin but the prometrium is kicking my butt and I have only taken 2 pills. I kind of hurt all over, have nausea, and feel tired. Is that normal? I kind of feel a little scared about only taking 2 and feeling this way. Whats in store if I keep taking it and how will it work with the metformin which I hear has some pretty nasty side affects by itself?

My progesterone always gives me a nasty case of PMS for the first couple of days I take it. The cramps get awful on day 4, and usually my period starts on the day I take the last pill. I know it's not usually supposed to start until a couple of days later, but I'm just lucky, I guess, haha.

Thanks for your answer. I kind of feel beat up or as if I have exercised the day before or something which I have not. I called the nurse and she said prometrium doesnt have side effects like pain and stuff like that and I'm kinda thinking then why are they in the warnings:?: But she said to take it for the 10 days and see if my body adjusts. We will see. Starting the metformin tonight.
