Breasts and metformin/glucophage

  • A while ago, I had contacted the powers that be to get a study going on breasts and prepubic PCOS. I have noticed that PCOSers that had it before puberty plus logic, have widely seperated breasts, significant cup size difference, sagging breasts and/or big areolas. This is concidered "underdeveloped". Not because of size, but because the elasticity chemical that is created to make breasts "average" is created during puberty. Alter puberty and this can be affected. This is also true after birth. The elasticity chemical is damaged and this is why breasts sag in many cases.

Anyway, I think I will call them tomorrow again to take me more seriously. I have proof that my theory is right.

MY BREASTS HAVE CHANGED SINCE BEING ON GLUCXR! I SWEAR!!! Im sooooooo fricken psyched!

PreGluc: One breast was significantly smaller and made buying bras an imposibility. Both also drooped quite a bit.

PostGluc: THEY ARE NEARLY THE SAME SIZE! AND PERKY!!!!!!!

Now, Im not a breast woman at all. I really dont care what size they are as long as they match and I can buy a bra. It has ALWAYS been noticable in clothes. Sometimes I had to stuff one side. I see a REAL difference! I even tried on my formed-cup bra which was always needing stuffed iin that one side. Now, it fits beautifully. I just tried it on to see if I was out of my mind or if this is real!

    Anyone else notice changes???

I have been on gluc now for 9 months. IM SO PSYCHED!
  • Ha! This is so cute. I have been on Gluc for about 3 months this round. I took it for about 9 months last year. Over the last year or so I have thought that I was actually growing. I haven't measured, but my bras feel different. As far as perky goes...Hmm, well I'm a 40DD so they can't get too perky according to the law of gravity! I will check my measurements when I go to the endo in November, and will let you know what it says.

    BTW, congratulations!
