GI Diet
I read somewhere on the forum that a lady who has PCOS read the GI Diet book and had good results.
I went to Barnes & Noble last week and picked it up. It was under $10. I was amazed at what I read. So much that I did not know was in the food that I normally ate. Anyways, I have been trying to lose weight for a year and have had no luck. In this past week I have lost 3 pounds. :carrot: I just wanted to share this with ya'll incase there is someone out there that is getting as frustrated as I was and needed something new. |
Thanks for sharing! :) Another good book that might help you out is SugarBusters, which is also based on the Glycemic Index. Very simple and easy to follow.

Thanks, I have heard alot about Sugarbusters. I will check that out.
On the Glycemic Index, it says to give yourself a treat and allow yourself to go off. Well, I did just that lastnight and I wasn't interested in what I was eating. I was actually craving a salad. Strange what eating fresh does to u. |
