I just picked up the book Syndrome X, it is about insulin resistance. I have to say it seems to have the most complete information about what it is, what it does to our bodies and what to do about it that I have found yet. I picked it up off the barne's and noble website used for $1.99. Couldn't beat the price and I would recommend it to anyone else confused about what it all means like I was!

I've not read the book but I have been diagnosed with Metobolic Syndrome X. Since I have been diagnosed back in 2003 I have read everything I can find on it. I am hoping that losing weight will give me energy like I had last time I lost weight. This time I'm not going to let myself gain it back once it goes.
