Well..me & Fonzo woke up and went for a walk today!!!!!!! Omg..it was soooooooooooooooooooooo cold!!!!!!!! LoL!!! I'm gonna have to find some warmer non-sweat pants type pants, lol. We walked a mile!!!!!! We walked to the closest street light (believe me, it was far, lol)..and then next time, we're gonna walk to the next one. Our goal is to make it to the Naval Academy. Then our 2nd goal is to make it to the Academy, walk around the whole place..then walk home from the other way. I hope we can do it. We gotta work up to it though, lol. Tomorrow,we're gonna go to the gym.
OHH...and when we got to our street..we jogged back. And I totally beat Fonzo to the door, lol. Of course, I collapsed on the floor, lol. But whatever. I used to be a good runner when I was younger.
I'm excited about the gym tomorrow!!!!!
AND since I walked today, I get to watch the Golden Globes tonight!! YAY!!! (Fonzo was gonna take that away from me if I didnt go, lol)
I'm so baby crazy lately!! I keep seeing my nieces and nephews and all these women talk about how much they love their children. ahh! I just want to experience it so badly. I did want to wait to try to conceive until I got down to 199 or below. But now.. I'm thinking.. why waste time if it may be difficult for me to conceive. I know I'm still young, but I just really want to know if it is possible for me.
Sorry.. just wanted to vent a little. I'm also a little upset because I'm up 3lbs. And I didn't help any by eating bacon and pancakes today. Ugh.. now I feel guilty and just down.
Neesy, don't let one bad breakfast get you down. Just make the rest of the day count so you can minimize the damage. You've already lost 16 pounds, that's great! Hang in there, you can do it.
Denise- i totally know how you feel, although I promised myself not to "actively" try until I'm at least 175 lbs I started a new cycle this month, I feel I can still diet and exercise and same time TTC . Don't feel down!!! after leaving 190's I said that I'll have one cheat day, so i had that on saturday and guess what? my cheat day continued on sunday! I felt so bad especially since I promised hat there only going to be one "cheat" day... but today is a new day and I'm back on track, I'm sure you can do it too!!! and feel free to vent anytime you want
How's everyone else doing? I'm ok I'm triggering today for ovulation so wish me lots of baby dust lol arghhh I hope this works, I worked so hard
Hey chicks- Sorry i have been MIA, just super busy!! I finished my Femara today, so hopefully I will have good follies this weeek. I have lost another 4 pounds, so I am happy for that.
Donna, congrats on 4lbs lost yeyyyy thats great!!!! , as for femara good luck!!! Grow follies grow!!!! are you getting an u/s to check if they are growing? I had a trigger 2 days ago for a 21mm follie and ovulated sometime yesterday so I hope this is going to work urghhhhhhh the horrible 2ww! :P
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my referral!!!!! I wasnt sure if my insurence was gonna let me go to a civilian doc, but they approved it!!! No Army or Navy docs for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to call them just now, but they were closed, so I'm gonna make my appt tomorrow!!!!!!!
OKay...I just got a call from a nurse at my doc's office. I have to go in for more blood work. I'm worried now. The nurse said that it was nothing series, but who knows.
I had to reschedule my appt. The whole thing was a mix up. Someone told me on the phone that I was to get more blood drawn..but when I got there, they told me it was just a follow up w/my doc. So ya whatever. The doc was too busy with someone else, so I'm going on monday.
But gooooooooooood news!!!!!!!!!!!! I called and got an appt for Feb 4th w/the fertility specialist!!!!!!!!!!! They're gonna send us some stuff to fill out to take with us..does anyone have any idea what they can be? Maybe just the standard medical stuff??
Shop-It is probably what my RE sent me, just a big packet of paperwork, just pretty in depth medical stuff, not a big deal. I actually filled mine out online.
Hey there! I"m new as well, and my DH and I are ttc as well. We went to the fertility clinic and I found out that I did indeed have PCOS. We have been trying to change our diet, as per our doctors request. We plan to do IUI in march or May. I'm on metformin and won't do chlomid til later.Did you use a particular diet? I'm mostly cutting carbs and just bad stuff overall. Hope to talk to you soon!
