Wow! I didnt know that there was a qhole area here specially for those with PCOS. I also wasnt aware (call me uninformed!! Sheez!) that there was a link to weight loss?

Anyway, my name is LeeLee, Im 24, I found out I had PCOS 2 years ago after having TOM for 8 weeks straight. I was put on birth control to help regulate my cycle and ended up in the hospital with pulmonary embolis, quite the scary occasion when you hear the ER doc say "if you would have come in any later I dont think you'd have made it".

Am currently taking prometrium 10 days a month to regulate my cycle, being as my body doenst do well with added hormones in my system, Im really happy I found this little spot!

Im off to read the wealth of knowledge here but so happy to find this place! 3FC just gets better by the day!

Yep, one of the biggest challenges of pcos is the weight issue.

I know many people say the best thing to do is go on BCP for PCOS, but I don't do well on the pill - so I stay far away from them!

When we are not ttc, I take provera before I hit 90 days without a cycle. When we are ttc, I'm on clomid, so there's no need for the provera. :)

Right now I'm BFing, and I've had periods all on my own - it's downright weird for me!
