Default Optifast and blood pressure dropping drastically :)

For the past 6 years I have had really bad blood pressure. usually around 140/100 and worse. I had been eating very healthy for a few months, saw my doctor and nothing had changed. He gave me a script for a medication which I didn't feel comfortable taking. I was doing well on my own but decided to try optifast as I have a medical thing coming up and weight is an issue for it. After 10 days I decided to take my bp on a fluke. My bp is 122/80 *mind blown* I retook it again and roughly the same. Is that even possible? I will say I've stopped eating meat for the most part in this time. I had two small bites of chicken breast yesterday and I cook my food with meat but give the meat to the kid and I have been eating more of the vegetables. I've been taking a normal gentle multi vitamin also. I am just so excited I might not have to actually start these pills! No idea what triggered it or if my cuff broke (it's a good one so I certainly hope not!)
