Default Not getting constipated!

I have had good success with liquid-style diets in the past, and since I'm just in a short-term mode to unpick some holiday indiscretions I think this is probably the way to go for me. But I wonder how people manage with the milkshake diets to keep from getting bunged up. My bowel is sensitive at the best of times as I have had extensive surgery, so I usually mix the stuff up with fibre supplements, maybe a whole piece of fruit blended into one of the shakes, but of course that adds calories depending on what you pick. I'm wondering, does anyone else has any tips to make sure things stay "moving"?

Hey Rose Rodent, if your not aiming fiber from your foods, look for Metamucil - Clear & Natural fiber. It's a white powder that dissolves in any liquid, and has virtually no taste at all. You can mix it with pretty much anything you are drinking and never even know it's there. I don't use it that often, but I do keep some on hand just in case. ;-)
