Can someone please give me an easy recipe? Maybe some kind of fish, which I have never before cooked, but enjoy ordering in restaurants.
My lean and greens are always soemthing easy. I get frozen chicken breasts and grill those on my foreman I also do Salmon on my foreman, tilapia, turkey burger patties or veggie burger patties, I eat salads with tuna on top. I use my foreman alot. And our Walmart here has groceries now and the frozen fish (Salmon and such) come individually wrapped and are really good. I eat them with veggies grilled or I throw one on top of a salad. Pork chops I have cooked and you can have some starches. So I do occassionally have a small helping of mashed potatos or a small baked potato.

I need to not weigh myself everyday at first, I think. I am just getting disappointed I haven't lost any weight yet. I've only been on Wonderslim for 5 days, but I still feel like my weight should have gone down at least a little for my effort! Instead my scale reads a pound higher then when I started. Doh. I'm glad I bought a months worth of the food otherwise I know I would be tempted to throw in the towel.

I tried doing the Nutrisystem last march, at that point I did know I had gluten intolerance, and I was bloated and sick...NS has loads of grain products. I thought because it was highly engineered food that I did not tolerate the dehydration and preservatives.
shakes are gf.
bars are gf.
your huge problem is entrees, you can only eat the omlette, they somehow squeeze gluten into both the vege joe and chili and obviously all the macs are gluten.
cereals have gluten,
really if you wanted to do wonderslim you would have to base the entire thing off shakes and bars

Well, I tried to do some smart shopping yesterday while waiting for my box to get through customs. This is some stuff that I bought:

Salad Mixes
Broccoli
Apples (learn to eat or juice it)
Clementine Oranges (learn to eat or juice it)
Pineapple Spears (to juice with other fruit)
Avacado
Tomato
BodyWise Brand Tortillas
FlatBread (probably not too healthy but was going to cut them in half)
Dempsters 12 Grain Bread (used to eat white)
Sugar Free Snacks (Mousse, Rice Pudding)(I just love this stuff so thought to try SF)
Light Shredded Cheese
FF Sour Cream
1 Grapefruit (get myself back into liking them)
1L H2O Travel Bottle (Learn to get my water intake)
24 pack water
Adams P Butter (no sugar)
Lean Turkey Burgers

You think these would be alright if I use in moderation and not snarf like its my last meal...lol.

I made my first lamb roast tonight. It turned out pretty good except I think I'm wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over my sodium limit for the week. Put too much Sea salt in and the potatoes were quite salty tasting but edible. Lamb was just slightly over cooked but still very yummy. Had boiled carrots for veges and gonna have a sliver of Tiramisu for dessert......

Sorry if this makes you drool

Just weighed in after my first week of Wonderslim, down 2 lbs. Can't say I wasn't hoping for more, but I am moving in the right direction at least!

WOW girls...6" of snow this morning!! I opted to stay in - hubs thinks his Ford Escort is a snow plow so he's making the attempt to get to work. Today is my sons 18th birthday! Can't believe how quickly he has grown! What a wonderful blessing he has been to our lives!

Will be cooking breakfast soon...guess WS is off the menu today!

I am vowing to be back on track! And I think the key is to follow the plan! I've been skipping some of the shakes and then I'm hungry later. Duh!

We're very excited about the cruise!! We won't have any time in NYC, but I've been there lots of times so it's OK. I would like to lose 10 pounds before we go which is totally do-able.

Couponing: yes, I do have a "store" in my basement. I supply my SS1 and his girlfriend (college students); my sorta mother-in-law and people who give me their coupons! I spent over 2 hours in Target on Friday and saved over $40. But as you see, it did take awhile. And I think I only have ONE deoderant in stock!!!

I stopped taking my birth control pill on Jan 1 and I can't believe how much faster the weight is coming off! I had suspected for some time that it was hampering my weight loss and now my suspicions have been confirmed. At least in my mind they have

Yes BCP can hamper weight.....period. I had been on all sorts of BC and now have PCOS, which some say is due to the fact of the hormones in any type of BC. I just hope that when I start loosing weight that my body will get back to normal and I will start to have monthly visitor....sorry if TMI. Then hopefully I can get pregnant again on my own and not need any further fertility help such as IUI or IVF..................I'm not THAT old yet but my DH is 42 soon to be 43 and he feels he is getting too old to have another child, if its gonna happen he wants it to be soon. But unfortunately I am not content with 1 child. I know I should count my blessings that I got the one and without issue, and I am so very grateful because I know there are people out there struggling just to have their first but it feels like there is something missing, my life and family don't feel complete yet. I don't mean to sound selfish, I do honestly feel for those that can't even have one and thats enhanced due to the fact that I am struggling for my second and have for approx. 6 yrs.

My husband and I are both 36. We don't want to even start trying until I lose 30 more pounds, which will put me at 185 with a BMI of 29 so just overweight instead of obese. So depending on how fast I lose the weight we'll probably start trying sometime in the spring. I don't want a December baby though

Smiley-good luck to you. I know I only want 1 child. Its taken us 13 years to decide that. I'm pretty sure 1 will be enough for us. That is unless we have twins! (my dad was a twin).

Hey 2lb is great news. Ask yourself, did you lose 2lb the week before WS? I'm not sure I lost 2lb in 2010! Congratulations.

I'm 34 and never wanted children, but my sis went through awful times getting preggers. She ented up going to fertility docs and her eggs were just not viable. Two years ago I donated eggs to her and she has the most adorable twin girls. I am happy for her and content with my choices. Good Luck to all of you and I hope you all have housefulls of babies.
