Well thanks to Cheeseheader we have a new thread dedicated to Diet To Go, but I thought I would answer you in here since they probably won't all get merged.
First off, I would have said something to her about her attitude because that's ridiculous and unnecessary. The customer service people are wonderful however the two salespeople are a little strange to be honest. The guy is super intense and you can totally tell he is working out of his home (at least try to convey a different image you know). He did tell me that the other salesperson who is a female often tells people that they should not eat any other food while on their plan, but that this is not something he agrees with. So you must have gotten her. He told me that you should have a little milk or string cheese or an apple or something in between meals if you get hungry and shaky. Personally I would have done that on my own anyway because you don't want your blood sugar to plummet. They don't offer snacks on their program which I am totally cool with because most companies give you soy based snacks that are not good for people like me with thyroid disorders and I can buy my own fruit and string cheese and milk.
The low carb plans leaves you feeling full for longer periods of time due to the protein, however I am a chocoholic and usually have one ChocoPerfection low carb chocolate bar per day (and a glass of milk usually). I am losing weight just fine although they do put more calories in their meals so you do need to watch the snacking a bit. The meals are more satisfying and delicious than any other meal plan I have tried however the meals themselves total about 1200-1400 on average calories per day.
Also it's never one size fits all so that advice she gave you was just dumb dumb and more dumb. Anyway good luck to you in any choice that you make!
