Default Wow! I Learned Something Today
There is help for my eating problem!

I am so glad I found this forum! Just reading dribs and drabs of other folks' posts, I feel like I am home. I have been posting with the marvelous ladies on the SugarBusters board for a short while now, and I LOVE the SB program, BUT... these past 10 days I have been on a binge, as a result of dealing with some family issues. I know that SB will not work for me until I deal with mind games that I am expertly playing - I am so good at it, it's a shame to stop, but a crime to continue. So I just wanted to send this initial post; I will be reading all about OA and about other members' struggles. And what is that light at the end of the tunnel - a ray of hope?? Love to all - Ruby

Hi, RUBY! It's heartmom from SB. I've been having problems with my eating here lately and it's gotten out of control. I turned to this board because I need help that doing just SB won't help me with. I've been bingeing for 2 days and feel out of control!

Leenie- Sorry so late responding. The last binge I had was the Christmas holidays. It was pretty gruesome. But I'm back on track now. I always manage to get back on track just wish I didn't fall off to begin with,lol.

Congratulations with getting back on track!
I usually start a new diet right before the holidays and then fall off right before my birthday (next week). I've done this every year for the last 12 years and I don't want to do it anymore.
Somewhere along the line, I forgot what normal is.

Hello Heart - I've been posting on the 300+ forum. I love all the folks at SugarBusters, but I wanted to try posting at a place where everyone would know from personal experience what it is like to be huge. By the way, you are one of my inspirations to keep on with the SB program, although I have just today added calorie counting to my toolbox. I hope you and everyone at SB are doing great now that the holidays are over. -Ruby
