How many OA'ers do we have here?

Peace,

Hi ChickieBell,
I have been OA for 14 months and down about 30 pounds. I am a Sponsor, I have worked the 12 Steps for the first time. Other tools I use are service, leading our meetings on occasion and outreach.
OA has saved my life. Now that I am in my second year I want to deepen my recovery.
This site is wonderful, not as active with OA postings as in past months.
Peace,
Magic Flute

I'm an OA, too.
Am trying to figure out what exactly "abstinence" means for me, but I definitely think that this program works if you work it...

chickie,

I have been in OA since Jan 2008. I just started a new meeting in my area on Saturday...I'm so excited. I have had a relapse (since June) and lost my sponsor...so I feel like I'm floundering. But it was good to be back at a meeting and I'm on the look out for a new sponsor. Thanks for posting the roll call!

I've been in OA off and on since May 2007. Went away and back out for awhile and relapsed, but now I'm back and ready to do the work and have already shed some weight sticking to a plan, even though I don't have a sponsor...which is next on my list.
