Does anyone go to OA meetings? Are they helpful for you? Do you work the steps?

Yes, I go to OA meetings and yes I work the steps. Working the steps is my relief of compulsive overeating and my obsession with food.

I hope you will do f2f meetings but if you can't there are lots of on line and telephone meeting.

I just started going last week. I love it. I've been to two OA meetings in the last four days. I really feel like I have finally found my home.

OA is great. People there really understand the food issues like no one else does.

I've been in AA for years and have and try to continue to work the 12 steps. I'm much newer to OA. It has been beyone helpful to me.

Hi There,
I am sooooooooooo happy being OA, working the steps, being Sponsored and having a Sponsor. I feel happy more now than I have for so very long.
One great thing is more and more of my character defects are being removed.
It works if you work it...
