Default Today I have 2 years of abstinence
Yahoo!


Tonight at my meeting I celebrated 2 years of abstinence from eating between planned meals and desserts. I got a big beautiful chip, and a chance to reflect on how I feel now compared to a year ago. I also pulled out the old fat pictures to remind myself of where I came from before OA.

Each day of the last two years has been a blessing and a reprieve. Thank you God.

What is the premis of OA, I've thought about attending, I believe there is one in my area. I love that you give thanks to the Lord!

Congratulations Marny!! You truly are an inspiration! I have been attending OA for about a month and it has become a new safe haven for me. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this fellowship.

Hi Marny,
I remember when I first joined our group on 3 fat chicks. You made me feel so welcomed. It was through your suggestions that I got started off on the right track, esp. the red, green and yellow food lists. Then later you talked about Sponosoring and now I have 2 Sponsees and I enjoy being on their journey with them.
I am down 3 dress sizes and I am socializing more and exercising all the time.
