Hurray.

The awesome changes:
I'm coping with life on life's terms.
I'm not using substances to deal.
I'm putting my trust in God every single day.
I'm loving others right where they are.
I'm living in the present one day at a time.
I like myself.

The superficial benefits:
My rings are too big and falling off my finger.
My clothes are too big...even the ones I just bought a month ago.
I got a sweater as a gift for Christmas...it's an XS...and it fits.
I don't recognize myself in pictures at first glance.
People don't recognize me.
I wore a swimsuit in public without being horrified by the experience.

There is no amount of dessert that I would trade this new life for.
