Down another pound at 176! Yeah!!!! Haven't been there in a long time!

I did find the Ezekiel bread and either have 1 slice of that, or a slice of rye, both at 80 cal and 14 g carb for a breakfast sandwich with 1 egg, a turkey sausage patty and a little cheese, and then can get through the rest of the day with very little carbs. Seems to be working so far. Once it starts getting warmer I can go back to protein shakes in the morning. Still have one at lunch many days, but feel I need something warm and substantial for breakfast in winter, and some days don't have time for lunch.

Pretty excited about 176 though. Rennie- I'm getting close to the 160s!!!! Can't wait!!!!

Another non OP day for me yesterday... BUT I have had enough of non OP days, so today I am back on plan.

Sun is shining and those size 6 shorts won't fit me unless I get my act together. So I think I have found my mojo again. Amazing what a good weather can do to one. This winter just felt soooo long.

Doggie got her first path of the season. She started to smell like a wild animal

I will walk the doggie for 4 miles and then go to the gym and swim and maybe power walk for 4.7 miles. Depending how much mojo I have

Rennie, are you starting a new thread for next month since our momma bear Jacq has gone MIA?

Sum size 6 wow, huh size 8 wow ... you've got your mojo back for sure every time I read your workouts I think, wow I'm just lazy You do great as always

No I won't start another thread until this one reaches 500 post, (this one was started 1/21/14 because the other one reached the 3FC limit) I will post the link to the new one when I create it. Hopefully Jacqui will come back. I really hope and pray that everything is well with her and her family. I wish I had given her my number or email to keep in contact. I will when she comes back. We had a few other members that we're missing here also. I need to get back to the way I was eating when I first started with Jacqui and the others. It definitely did the body good

see my post from another thread below

I did horribly today ... I came home from church and got into those Takis, and then ate cake with icing. I also ate some things that weren't bad but when you add up the bad things it's like wow, WHY DID I DO THAT? My sons had been saying since this morning they wanted to go to the gym so we went at the last minute. I got in a 41 minute power walk, 2.44 miles calorie burn was 325 so that helped with the cake at least.

I have to get it right or I will blow my end of the month. It's bad enough that I typically weigh less the last day of a month and then the first day of the new month I am up, WHY IS THAT???

My determination this go around is my birthday. I really really want to see 160 by then.

They one in Cary is only grocery and pharmacy and I have found a ton of hard to find things in that one.
I haven't tried any yet but thought they might make a nice back up plan to keep in the freezer. I shop the two WMs closest to me - triangle town center and wake forest. Funny, when I lived in Morrisville there was no WM! It's only been 7 yrs since I moved from that area to N Raleigh.

Shannon you must live out where my cousin lives. I know it's Wake Forest out 98, I love it out there There's one on Shiloh Glenn off Chapel Hill, it's nice, there's a Sam's club right behind it. They have built up that area since I've been here. Theres a Sheetz now and an entire shopping center, with a movie theater.

Hi, Ladies!

I am celebrating! Finally got off the 153 and am now at 152lbs!!!! Happy Dance

Now I am only 2 lbs away from my first goal! Also, out of my 14 pants! Had to wear size 12 navy slacks for church this morning.

Then got into a size 12 bathing suit to play on the beach with my grandchildren. Didn't make it to the beach, but sunned and talked with my two daughters. Grandpa and Daddy watched the boys.

They even made float rafts and played in the pool! It was too chilly for me. Weather is warming up all week in the mid to high 70s!

Finally, Spring has sprung here!

Hope you all are doing well. Got to get back to posting my meals! You help keep me accountable and encouraged!

Night!

My little one told me this morning while waiting for her bus that she thinks I am losing weight too fast (she's 10). She said, "because if you keep losing weight you're gonna have to buy all new clothes!) her bus came so I'll have to ask her to finish what she was saying this evening. Kids are funny

Went to the gym did 2.62 miles burn 325 calories, feeling good

Default Hello!

I'm new here, and doing 4-hr Body slow Carb. You all seemed to be the people to hang out with

I have done slow carb before, and found it easy and pleasant, about 2 years ago..lost about 40lbs, then stopped..as I always do every other plan I have been on.. I decided this time to find people to support me, ( you nice people) go back to Body-for-life exercise protocols, as I love to lift weights, and am also working with The Beck Diet Solution book and subliminals to change the way6 days in a row, but not indefint I am thinking...
This is it! I started Monday, as is traditional, I cheat on Sunday, as I have a standing date to role-play with my friends..
I am married, I am 46, no kids 2 cats, too many books, and a swell library job..
I prefer 4-Hour and B-F-L for the cheat day, as I can be religiously good for indefinitely..
I am taking pictures of my food using the Android App, recording my Physical Movements and improvements on Trackitt App, and paper logging some of my thoughts, some of te waysI am thinking, ways I want to change my thinking...

So, I'd tell you more if you ask, but otherwise seems self-absorbed.
Patty

Hi Patty and Shannon! Do tell more! So fun to have more people!!!

Rennie- congrats on the 3 lb weight loss! WW weigh-in tomorrow night for me. Hoping for some down from last week. Weight seems to be fluctuating a lot lately. Was down 3 lbs, then only 1.5 lbs this morning. Who knows tomorrow night. We'll see. At least I know I'm doing better! And don't worry about the b-day diet goal. Any loss is good, and actually slower is better. I recently read an article about all the reasons why losing too fast is worse. One reason is that your body can't absorb the extra skin if you lose more than 1-2 lbs a week. Just be happy that you are still moving in the right direction. You are doing really great!

McSurf- AGAIN- so jealous!!!! Still waking up too many mornings with snow! Sooooooooo tired of the white stuff! Sounds like you are doing pretty good diet-wise.

Sum - oh my!!!!! Did you say size 6? I don't think I have ever worn that size! Maybe in kindergarten! I used to have a really great athletic lean body and still wore between size 8-10 at my very leanest. I could be all our bones and I would still be wearing a larger size than that!!!! My sister-in-law wears a size 0 and I am convinced that is a make believe size!!!! (Except she's really thin and has an awesome figure. Whatever.....) Good thing she's nice!

Sum and Rennie- great job on working out!!! Dang, I got home late, had been on my feet completely non-stop since 7:30 am with no break, no lunch, and truthfully could have never went to the gym. In the bath now soaking my weary old bones and muscles in epson salts. I hurt all over.

Anyway, will let you know how weigh-in goes tomorrow.

BTW- think you are a great "Momma Bear" Rennie!! You're doing awesome girlfriend!!
