Hi everybody, I'm new here. I have been losing weight slowly (VERY slowly) since New Year's, but stalled since April. I heard about BFC, bought the book and so far I'm very happy with the results, I've started losing again. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Finally, I lost another half pound, and I'll take it! Ended up grilling pork loin last night not salmon, and had a nice helping of broccoli and felt full. Would love to try eating greek yogurt, but it seems to be high in sugar - has anyone found one that isn't?

New Member: In the book, I believe he references the best energy and protein bars, so take a look and see if there are some that are lower in sugar and carbs that might work for you.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a couple things that have helped so far...
Not sure if you have a Harry's (whole foods) in your area, but I found Zevia buy 1 get one free there this week!! I bought a case and now wish I would of bought more. I like all their flavors and use this as my"treat" each day. I also really like "Ambers blog" that ERHR shared with us on page three of this thread. Lots of good info there! I really want to find those Clemmy O's that she talks about but have had no such luck so far. But the "So delicious" no sugar mini bars I did fine @ Harry's and they are YUMMY.

I kind of hit a plateau in the last couple of weeks so I have upped my exercise...zumba for the first time tonight! and cardio 4-5 times per week. I also was eating the same thing for bfast and lunch so I switched things up a bit this week. Starting my day with the whey protein shakes found in the book. So far I am satisfied until lunch. I think I will weigh in tomorrow...just to see how it is going.
Still very motivated and love reading all the posts!

Thanks for the welcome! I bought my book at the bookstore, so I have it already.

To find the Clemmy O ice cream, go to their website and look to see what stores near you carry it. I did that, and found a place quite near me that I never would have thought to check. It's worth some extra effort.

Thanks for the heads up about Clemmy o Ice Cream. I found Zevia at Krogers yesterday if anyone has one nearby.

I had a good day yesterday, but last night my ex called in a rant about something and yelled till I hung up on him. Ruined my whole evening and I ended up eating tortilla chips out of the bag for dinner. It's a shame some people are just mean and unhappy and have to share it with others. But - today is a new day and I hope to stay OP. Boyfriend is coming over tonight for dinner, so I'll think about that.

Welcome Newbies and webwoman, don't be to hard on yourself. We all have those days when we fall short of our goals. Just get back on track and don't look back. I lost 1lb. last week, its going slow and I have some major things I am dealing with too.

Woo hoo! I love the "woosh". Very much needed as I was tired of the plateau I had hit. I try to not be tied to the scale and only weigh every two weeks. It was hard at first but now easy as you dont see the daily flucuations!

Great going Lucia & Congrats Eineys mom! I need a "woosh" bad
Nu Me, I too step on the scale every morning and then I get upset if I have not lost. I think it is working against me.

Hey does anyone know how many post or days you have before you can post your weightloss ticker?

Einey's mom, how did you wean yourself off weighing every day? I need to do that, it's so discouraging, but every two weeks would be way better and show more progress. Any tips?

Says we hvto wait 20 days until we can add a ticker. Also need 20 posts as well. That was a question of mine as well.
